Twelve Year Partnership
Continuing a twelve year partnership, Sherrington's consultants are proud to continue our longstanding relationship with luxury British jewellery manufacturer Brown & Newirth, this time supporting with the recruitment of a Head of Marketing to the business.
Brown & Newirth
Brown & Newirth is the definitive bridal jewellery brand in the UK- defined by its use of high-quality materials, inspired design, responsible production and the finest craftsmanship all backed up by impeccable service.
Founded in 1967, Brown & Newirth have created a strong and well-respected brand in the bridal jewellery sector. Retailed nationally through their loyal and established network of high-end independent jewellers, the business earned a reputation for innovation and superior quality.
In recent years the business has embraced a strategy of consumer engagement, managing the shopping journey from start to finish. In 2020 they launched an industry first ‘concierge service’ for the first-time enabled consumer to try rings from the comfort of their own home. The innovation drove sales at a time when visiting the usual outlets wasn’t possible, positioning Brown & Newirth as a luxury brand who do things differently to enhance the consumer experience.
Other innovations have had similarly positive impact. The recent entry into the use of laboratory-grown diamonds with their ‘Created Collection’ demonstrate that the company not only benefits from its rich heritage and reputation but is also not afraid of progression and innovation.
As the business evolves, such innovation will be the bedrock of future growth and embracing new methods of sustainable manufacturing and new technology will speak to the growing demand for sustainable jewellery.
Brown & Newirth® place incredible value on their customers, people, stakeholders, and suppliers. They are proud certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council recognising their commitment to responsible procurement, environmental standards, and fair working conditions for all.
As principal patrons of the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council and, as active supporters of their jewellery makers apprenticeship scheme, Brown & Newirth® are committed to nurturing and developing future generations of jewellers and artisans.
