Episode 4 - Yannis Locopoulos - CEO, Tristone Capital

In this episode we talk to Yannis Locopoulos, the CEO of Tristone Capital, a privately-owned buy-and-build investment company, founded on the principles of ethical capitalism and the belief that the role of business is to serve all stakeholders - customers, employees, investors, suppliers and wider society. Operating largely in the healthcare sector, Tristone specialise in investing in companies with enterprise values of up to £20m and have recently made a number of acquisitions through 2022. Their belief that the private sector can be an agile and effective driver of social impact is the foundation of the business.

Yannis is an experienced entrepreneur with extensive experience of founding, building and acquiring businesses. Passionate about investing in and working with businesses that make a positive contribution to society and the environment, he founded Tristone in 2017 and the business has gone from strength to strength despite the challenges laid out by the pandemic.

In this insightful conversation between Rob and Yannis, they explore how taking a more purposeful approach to developing Tristone's portfolio is paying dividends for the business, their portfolio companies and their people.
